I checked USDA releases, the Federal Register, and the 2025 budget documents and there’s no record of a $500M reduction, no March 2025 announcement, and no AP/Reuters reporting on it.If you’ve got an official USDA link or a CBO/CRS report showing those numbers, drop it.
